Time was against me
I thought I’d get up early on Friday as I still had loads to do and I needed to travel back home to London in the afternoon. I set my phone alarm so a horrendously early hour and had an early night. For the first time *ever* my phone alarm failed to go off (mostly because my phone had decided not to actually charge over night, despite being plugged in, and had run out of batteries) and so I woke up at my normal time and didn’t get home til 10.30 in the evening. Boo.
My lie-in on Saturday was somewhat curtailed by my phone alarm, having missed its moment to shine, deciding that perhaps I’d like the benefit of its company at 5.30am. Not amused.
Despite that, I had a fun weekend of sorting things out (TM), having a proper Sunday roast in a cosy Richmond pub with Kathy and streaming my first radio broadcast of 2007 out to a select few. Good times.
